Welcome, I’m Jen.

I’m a therapist who specializes in helping women and couples find hope again.

Right now you might be feeling lost, broken, and you’re asking the question ‘why me?’.

I can tell you that in my own journey through trauma, infertility, loss, and motherhood I have felt the same overwhelming sense of brokenness and hopelessness many times, too many to count.

Until I turned to therapy for support.

I found a wonderful therapist who helped me discover the nuances in my story and find hope in my future. Now I am so passionate about working with other women and couples who have experienced deep suffering.

You do not have to go through this alone anymore.

I am here for you and can help guide you and hold your hand every step of the way.

My Therapeutic Style

I’ve noticed my style seems to resonate with clients who have a deep desire to:

  • feel in control of your emotions and reactions

  • to feel safe and secure in your relationships

  • to learn how to like and love yourself

  • to be able to express yourself authentically and live congruently

  • to be fully present in your life

  • find the balance in caring for yourself and others

I would be a great fit if you respond well to:

  • lots and lots of compassion (virtual hugs will definitely be coming your way)

  • humor (they do say laughter is the best medicine)

  • collaboration in all things (I firmly believe you are the expert in your own life)

  • authentic connection (I don’t have all the answers, but I will do my best to hold space for you earnestly)

  • trauma-informed care (context matters so much, we don’t live in a bubble, and your story matters and helps to form important perspective)

  • a growth mindset (at times I will gently challenge you to see something from a new perspective)

  • transparency (please, please tell me when I have misstepped or misunderstood. The chance to repair is a crucial component in all relationships, even therapeutic ones)

 Experience

I deeply value education and see myself as a lifelong learner. It’s important for me to stay up to date on the latest research and treatment options, so I continually seek out specialized trainings to attend and you’ll often find me reading a therapy book in my downtime for fun! Really!
